The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 (another name: ZZR1400) is a Japanese sports motorcycle that was first presented to the public in 2005 at the Tokyo Motor Show. A year later (2006), its serial production started, which is still going on. The motor belongs to the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle family.
The ZX-14 model was created and put into production in order to strengthen Kawasaki's position in the sports motorcycle segment, as well as to replace the ZX-12R models in the company's commercial offer. Compared to its predecessor, it differs primarily in the power unit, which in 2006-2011 was a 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine with a capacity of up to 190 HP and a capacity of 1352 cm3. Since 2012, the power unit has been even more powerful - it is an engine with a capacity of 1441 cm3 and a power of 208 HP! The motorcycle also has good aerodynamic properties and holds the road very well, also when cornering. It also has great performance: acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is less than 3 seconds and the top speed has been reduced to 299 km / h. It is currently one of Kawasaki's flagship motorcycles.
