The Honda RA272 is a Japanese Formula 1 car that was introduced in 1964 and only started in the 1965 season. It was developed as the successor to the RA271. Compared to its predecessor, it differed primarily in a different drive unit, generating a maximum power of 230 hp and capable of operating at 14 thousand. revolutions per minute, which was a significant technological achievement for the 1960s. The engine also had great dynamics and was highly reliable. The Honda RA272 started in 1965 in a total of 8 races, one of which it won - the Mexican Grand Prix. The drivers who drove it were Ronnie Bucknum and Richie Ginther. The RA272 was replaced on the Honda team by the RA273.
