M4 Command and Control Vehicle[często w skrócie: M4 (C2V)] is a mobile command center on a tracked chassis, American production, from the Cold War and modern times. The first prototypes of the vehicle were probably created in the years 1995-1995, but the car never entered mass production. It is estimated that about 25 vehicles of this type were built. The cart was 7.49 meters long and 2.97 meters wide. The M4 (C2V) was powered by a 600hp diesel engine.
The M4 Command and Control Vehicle was developed by BAE Systems for the US Army to replace the M577A2 Command Post, which was based on the M113 armored personnel carrier chassis. In order to unify the vehicles, as well as to reduce the costs of the entire project, the M4 (C2V) was developed on the M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle chassis, and more precisely - on the M270 MLRS chassis. Interestingly, development work was carried out relatively quickly, and the vast majority of the new car met the hopes placed on it. However, the US Army, which initially signaled the need to acquire approximately 440 vehicles of this type, canceled the entire program in 1999 as a result of budget cuts. It is assumed that some vehicles of this type successfully participated in the operation in Iraq in 2003.
