In the US Army, a huge role is attached to the medical care of soldiers - both in peacetime and during warfare, whether asymmetrical or - potentially - symmetrical. This importance can be seen, for example, at the level of the KTO Stryker company, when each such company is assigned a medical evaluation team (MEDEVAC), which moves on a specially adapted M1133 Medical Evacuation Vehicle (MEV). Such a team consists of three soldiers. On the other hand, at the level of the Stryker Brigade (SBCT), a medical company, consisting of a quartermaster platoon and two platoons - one dealing with medical care and the other responsible for MEDEVAC, is responsible for evacuation and medical care. It is worth adding that all medical care in the US Army rests on the shoulders of the Medical Corps, which in 2008 numbered approximately 4,450 doctors. It is assumed that the medical service in the US Army is one of the most efficient and best operating military medical services in the world.
