The KS-19 cannon is a Soviet, trailed 100mm anti-aircraft gun from the Second World War and the post-war period. The weapon had a rate of fire of up to 15 rounds per minute, and the initial velocity of the projectile fired from it was up to 900-1000 m / s. The maximum range for vertical shooting was up to 12,700 meters.
The KS-19 cannon was introduced to the service of the Red Army at the end of World War II, but it appeared in its ranks on a larger scale after 1945. It was a kind of lighter addition to the AA gun, which was being introduced at the same time. KS-30 cal. 130 mm. In the course of the service, a single KS-19 gun required a service of 15 people and was often towed by AT-T or AT-S tracked tractors. Over time, it began to be used in cooperation with the SON 9 fire control radar. The gun was also adapted to firing anti-tank ammunition dedicated to destroying enemy armored vehicles. The KS-19 gun has been exported to many countries around the world, including Bulgaria, Cambodia, North Vietnam and Poland. It remained in the line in the Polish armed forces until the end of the 1950s. The KS-19 cannon took part in such conflicts as, for example, the Korean War (1950-1953) or the Vietnam War (1964 / 1965-1975).
