Tsesarevich (Russian: Cesariewicz) was a Russian battleship (the so-called pre-dreadnought), under which the keel was laid in 1899, launched in February 1901, and entered service in the Russian Navy in 1903. The length of the ship was 118.5 m, width 23.2 m, and a displacement of about 13,100 tons. The maximum speed was up to 18 knots. The main armament consisted of four 305 mm guns, and the secondary armament consisted of, among others, 12 152 mm guns and 20 75 mm guns.
Tsesarevich was the only unit of its class in the Russian fleet. It was designed and constructed to strengthen the Russian fleet stationed in the Far East, and its main potential enemy were the newly built Japanese battleships. Tsesarevich was built at the French Forbes et Chantiers shipyard in Toulon. She was a ship very similar to the later Borodino-class units - this should come as no surprise considering that Tsesarevich served as a de facto benchmark for this class of battleships. Tsesarevich took part in the Japanese-Russian war (1904-1905) by participating in the siege of Port Arthur and in the Battle of the Yellow Sea. After 1905, he was sent to the Baltic Sea. The unit participated in World War I, but did not take a very active part in it - the exception was the struggle with the German fleet during the battle near the Moonsundian Islands. The unit (already known as Grażdanin) was captured by the Bolsheviks during the October Revolution. In 1925, the unit was scrapped.
