The Westland Wyvern is a British single-seat fighter attack aircraft. The drive was provided, for example, by a single Armstrong Siddeley Python engine with a power of 3560 HP with a characteristic double propeller mounted on the same axle. The flight of the prototype took place in 1946, and production continued in the period 1946-1956, ending with the production of 127 copies. The final production version was the plane designated as W.35 Wyvern TF. Mk. 4. Previously, a total of three pre-production series were built, but only 19 aircraft were produced in total. The Westland Wyvern was used in combat during the Suez Crisis in 1956.
