MTVR (short for: Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement) is a family of medium, modern American trucks. The first prototypes of this car were made in 1996-1997, and the car entered service in 2001 and remains in it today. The truck is powered by a single, 6-cylinder Caterpillar C-12 ADEM III engine with a maximum power of 425 HP. The manufacturer of the car is Oshkosh Defense.

The MTVR vehicle was created to supplement and partially replace in line the M809 and M939 family vehicles in the US Marine Corps (USMC). It is worth adding that currently the main user of MTVR is the USMC, and vehicles of this type are not part of the US Army's equipment. In total, nine variants of this vehicle were created, including the following models: Mark 23 (general-purpose truck and the basic version of the MTVR truck), Mark 27 (general-purpose truck with an extended wheelbase) or Mark 31 (truck tractor). Vehicles from the MTVR family are characterized by good mobility and performance, are also capable of operating in difficult climatic conditions, and can also be transported by air, e.g. by C-130 Hercules planes. Foreign recipients of these vehicles are, among others, Great Britain and Greece.
